Overview[]

Supreme Overlord[3] is the next cultivation level after Ancestor. All those who have created an epoch are of this level, there are also some surviving beings from remote times that have reached this level. All these beings cannot exert their power for fear of the wrath of heaven, and most are already wounded by it. Even so, these beings can eat entire worlds, however, unlike the pseudo-immortals, they have to devour the world in pieces. Another difference between pseudo-immortals and supreme giants is that the latter need to consume cultivators in order to live and grow stronger, while pseudo-immortals do it more for pleasure.

Many supreme overlords could start a new epoch but to create life? This was rather exceptional, with them being few and far between.[5] Not all supreme giants have created an epoch, but those who have, have certainly reached this level. The strength between Supreme Giants varies and is not equal.

All existences at this level are taboo, not at all to be taken lightly, with some being so overbearing that just the mere mention of their name or title can awaken them from their slumber and can land you a fate worse than death even if you were just to make a comment on them, so caution is a must when mentioning these existences.[3]

This is the list of some beings that have been confirmed to be outstanding:[]

  • Samsara Wild Ancestor: He considered devouring was an art and created a method to make it perfect. Li Qiye mentions that if it wasn't for Old Villainous Heavens, killing him would have been a problem.
  • Xiao Shi: He was able to predict the far distant future, when he had created the Dark Crow and he had reached level of 36 Pseudo Immortals. Li Qiye mentions that if he had not dedicated himself to seeking immortality, he would have reached further.
  • Long Dingtian: Li Qiye considers that it was a resplendent and wise existence.He stayed one step away from being able to touch the threshold of Pseudo-Immortal.[6]
  • Epoch's End: He devoured six epochs: Machine, Divine Beast, Remote Wildland, Scarlet Heaven, and two more .
  • Twilight Hunter's Twin: He reached the threshold of Ultimate Terror.[7]

Limit[]

Even supreme overlords have their own problems, there are two limits or hurdles imposed in this realm:

  1. Personal Limit - this is due to having a shaken Dao Heart and falling to the darkness, this requires fixing the dao heart or else their cultivation will stop there. Those who had their Dao Hearts shaken can still fix their path via reflection and internalization of their pursuit, while those whom have fallen to the darkness have erred completely and can only commit suicide to return their essences to the world or epoch.[8]
  2. Heavenly Limit - this is wherein the High Heavens will hunt down fallen overlords.[8]

19 Dead Immortal Bionic Epoch Dead Most likely, he have consumed his own epoch. He created the High Heaven's Maelstrom, an incomplete paragon artifact.
20 Lord of the Deeps Aqua Epoch Dead He devoured his epoch and also his own children. He created the Sea Demon race.
21 Undying Lord Undying Epoch Dead He created the Temporal Dagger, an incomplete paragon artifact.
22 Silly Da Cosmic Epoch Alive He ate his epoch and only a tribulation could stop him.
23 Trinity Ancestor Trinity Epoch Dead He was born with a primordial soul, a bloodline of origin, and an immortal skeleton. He went on an expedition against Old Villainous Heavens but lost and fell into the darkness.

25 Imperial Progenitor Trinity Epoch Dead He created the Heaven's Will cultivation system of his time
