Ancient Kingdoms (古国) are an extremely powerful and ancient nations; they are seen as the absolute overlords in their respective regions.[?]
The generally accepted qualification for a nation to be called an Ancient Kingdom is to have two or more Immortal Emperors or to exist from the very ancient time and to have a great influence.[1]

Kingdoms without qualification[]
The Southern Heavenly Kingdom existed since the Desolate Era so they also has a qualification to be called an Ancient Kingdom, however, as their only Immortal Emperor, Fei Yang, didn't recognise himself as a part of the nation and didn't left behind any legacy, they can only barely be considered a real Kingdom, so they never dared to call themselves an Ancient Kingdom.[?]
